Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.2007), The Verkhovna Rada of the Crimean Autonomous Republic is not to endorse the appointment of the Head of the Department for Fight against Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Crimean Autonomous Republic, the Head of the Chief Department for Fight against Corruption and Organized Crime of the State Security Service of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea, and the Head of the Department for Supervision over Observance of the legislation on combating corruption and relevant divisions in the AR of Crimea.
However, the Committee resolved that "primarily, The Verkhovna Rada of the Crimean Autonomous Republic should introduce amendments to the Constitution of the Crimean Autonomous Republic appertaining to elimination of the relevant endorsement procedure".
